Jenni and Todd's Journal:
|
Hello again
|
March 4th, 2005
Hi Everybody, I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in months. Jack is keeping us very busy. He is so amazing and I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is already 3 months old. He is smiling now and laughed out loud for the first time a couple days ago.
I've started skating a little bit. I have to get going though because we are doing a small show in May. Yikes! It's fun to get back on the ice but a lot harder than I thought it would be. We hope to be doing some of the Disson shows in the fall.
We are also busy teaching. Our novice pair did really well at Nationals and finished 2nd. We were so proud of them they couldn't have skated any better. It was sure different standing on the other side of the wall.
Todd is now a technical specialist for the ISU so he is at Jr. Worlds this week in Kitchener. Me and Jack are home with Grandma(my Mom)visitng.
Well, I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted you to know that we haven't forgotten about you guys I just haven't found much time to get on the computer.
Take care everybody and I'll be back soon. Jenni |

Hi Everybody,
I just wanted to stop by and remind all of you to enter the trivia contest. Don't wait too long because "baby Sand" can make his appearance at anytime.
We're doing well. We had Pacific Coasts(sectionals) this weekend and our Novice pair team finished 1st. Look for them at Nationals Bianca Butler and Joe Jacobsen). Are many of you going to watch Nationals in Portland?
Take care everybody and we'll keep you posted. Jenni |

baby update
|
November 7th, 2004
Only 31/2 more weeks to go!! We are very excited and very much looking forward to meeting our "little Sandbaby." We have everything ready for him, he just has to make his entrance. He's definately active and it's so much fun to feel him move around. It really is an amazing thing. My feet are looking pretty chubby and my ankles are pretty much nonexistant otherwise I feel great. Skating is definately out of the question right now. We still haven't made a final decision on his name. Who knows he might have to be Baby Sand. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the new skating season. We'll keep you posted. Take care, Jenni |

What we've been up to
|
September 25th, 2004
Where has the summer gone? September has flown by.
We went back to Cleveland to earlier this month to visit my family. My Mom, my sister-and-law and my friend Roberta had a baby shower for me while we were back there. It was so great to see everyone that I havn't seen in a long time. You should see all of the cute stuff we got. This baby is already spoiled!!
My nephews are both getting so big. A.J. (he's 3) thought it was very cool to talk to his cousin in Aunt Jenni"s tummy. Boy did he have the questions! He wanted to know if he's wearing clothes in there and then of course why not, why he's a boy, etc. etc. My favorite was probably when he asked very loudly at a restaurant if the baby got in my tummy because I ate him. The things kids say are definately priceless.
We've been teaching a lot lately. We have a Sr.Pair team, and just recently started working with a Novice pair. They will both be competing at Pacific Coasts(sectionals). I'm also working with a preliminary girl. She is a lot of fun and she competed very well at our first competition together.
I'm not sure if I mentioned in my last post that Todd is in school full time. He's hoping to finish his degree this year. He's really enjoying school even though his free time between school and teaching is very limited. No golfing for him lately.
The baby is definately growing and he's very active in there. We feel like we already know him. It is just so amazing to have this little person growing in my tummy. Only 10 more weeks to go!!
I hope all of you are doing well. I'm sure you are all getting excited for the new skating season to start. Have fun, and enjoy. Jenni |
